Connect-iP

Connect-iP is APT’s BACSTEL-iP compliant software package suitable for a host of applications and environments. It is an easy to use, secure, feature-rich software package, allowing fast transmission of BACS payments and collections from your own computer. Connect-iP has been fully tested and approved by BACS, meeting its strict operational and security standards.

Connect-iP is available in different versions to suit your requirements:
Standalone – A licence installed on a single PC, suitable for the smaller organisation wishing to make payroll or supplier payments and collect Direct Debits from one department.

Multi User – Designed for the larger companies where data can be accessed by at least 3 users located in different departments. The software is installed on the server and can be accessed non-concurrently.

Bureau – A comprehensive system which allows bureau to transmit multiple files, with individual User numbers, under their Bureau's User number.

Enterprise– has been developed to allow for extra flexibility in signing and submitting files. It allows submissions and transmissions to be signed by different users, across different networks.

Unique to APT’s BACSTEL-iP software:
In addition to providing the mandatory functions of BACSTEL-iP, Connect-iP offers two other special features:

ICheck – Automatically checks and flags any new or amended sort codes or account numbers within a file that has been entered into Connect-iP for processing. These additions or amended records can therefore be verified prior to transmission.

ISCD – This uses the Industry Sort Code Directory database to identify invalid sort codes or account numbers in a file. This is especially useful for Direct Debit collection as it will highlight any keying errors prior to a file being transmitted to BACS.
